I’ve been obsessed with making things from as far back as I can remember. At aged 3 one of my earliest and best memories is making the very best shaped mud pies in my street, all lovingly crafted in my family back garden, making the best use of local resources such as my fathers prized roses as pie toppings!
From then on both of my parents helped to channel my creativity teaching me gardening and knitting my own toy bears to play with.
My total fascination with all things felt started many years ago on holiday in Scotland where I was shown the technique of needle felting, realising that I could use it to create more and more of the quirky and charming creatures and flowers that I love to make such as my foxes and rabbits.
Felt making is an art, and not a precise science and I love the fact that the pieces that I create are individual and full of their own character. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I have loved creating them for you.
