Glassbydesign is the coming together of two glass design makers - Jane Smith and Fran Marsden. The aim is to offer a wide range of creative glass courses to give people the opportunity to learn new creative skills and also build upon existing knowledge.
The workshop is based at Jubilee Wharf, Falmouth in Cornwall. The wharf is an ‘eco’ building with four of its own wind turbines. It sits on the Fal estuary enjoying fabulous views. The site has workshops on one side of a courtyard, while on the other is a wonderful cafe ‘Miss Peapods’ - where all food is sourced with a priority on local, organic and Fair Trade.
We think Jubilee Wharf is a wonderful place to work and attend courses, with the added bonus of being situated in Cornwall within easy reach of its coastline, beaches, the maritime museum at Falmouth and the Eden Project.
