Its June already.  On with our next feature window… Not sure if anyone has noticed but Wales are playing in the Euros in France right now so we thought we’d show our support & feature the team!Yes we are talking football… our inspiration for this months window!  so we have a fusion of all things Welsh & French! OMG they just finished top of group B as I write!!!

Some of our makers have been busy making work specifically to celebrate.  The ‘French’ cutlery cockerel by Alexana is completely ooh la la, so good we sold it before it went in window! She will make to order though so don’t panic. Viewing essential before it is rehoused. 

Suzanne (felter) has made Welsh playing ‘ball’ frogs alongside French snails complete with moustaches. We love them & they all have different names. Swifty, Lofty & Pierre already gone to new homes!

Carlo (Reptile ceramics) sent a beautiful hand painted cockerel plate & Jane’s Raku Welsh ladies complete the Welsh element.

& not to forget glass: Cathy (Cod glass) has done some special Welsh flag dishes complete with hand cast glass footballs & the biggest French flag cheese platter you'll find this side of the channel!  A very special Dylan Thomas window panel by Angelina (Gorgeous Glass) is also essential viewing (look closely to spot the man himself) & another which features Pen-y-Fan.
